This page describes how Magoven (Pty) Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on Magoven One websites and related marketing pages. It complements our Privacy Policy. 1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage keys (for example Magoven cookie preference storage), session tokens, and pixels. Magoven One also uses a signed session cookie to keep you logged in securely.

2. How we store your choices

When you set preferences in the Cookie Preference Centre, Magoven stores them in browser localStorage under the key magoven_cookie_prefs. That record is treated as a strictly necessary preference so we can honour your choices on return visits from the same browser.

3. Categories

Strictly Necessary (Always Active)

Required for Magoven One to operate: authentication and session security (including the Magoven One session cookie), CSRF / abuse protection, load balancing, and remembering cookie preferences. These cookies do not sign you into unrelated third-party websites.

Functional

Remember interface settings, dismissed tips, and similar convenience features across Magoven One and, where linked, suite experiences (magMeet, magWork, magMail, MagDocs, MagDrive, magCalendar, NetSpeed).

Performance

Help Magoven understand page performance, errors, and feature usage so we can improve reliability for South African teams. We prefer aggregated metrics where practicable.

Targeting

Support Magoven product and campaign relevance and frequency capping. Magoven does not sell personal information. You can refuse this category without losing access to Magoven One login or core product functions.

4. Preference Centre controls

• Accept All Cookies — enables Functional, Performance, and Targeting in addition to Strictly Necessary.
• Confirm My Choices — saves the category toggles you selected.
• Cookie Settings — opens the detailed Preference Centre.
• Your Privacy Choices — footer control (California-style icon and label, adapted for Magoven) to reopen the Preference Centre at any time.

5. Browser controls

You may also clear cookies and site data in your browser. Blocking Strictly Necessary cookies may prevent login or organisation administration features from working.

6. Suite apps and third parties

Individual Magoven apps may set additional essential cookies for their own authentication and security once you leave Magoven One. Third-party IdPs or payment pages you open are governed by those providers' policies.
